Brisbane physiotherapist sentenced after sexually assaulting women

A Brisbane physiotherapist has been sentenced to jail after he was found guilty of sexually assaulting two women.

A court heard 48-year-old Scott Alexander Mackay had sexually assaulted two clients on the same day at his Lutwyche Road clinic in 2019.

The two women were booked into separate appointments and both were assaulted by Mackay.

The 48-year-old was sentenced for sexual assault but was acquitted of one charge of rape.

He was sentenced to 12 months behind bars on a suspended three month sentence.

The judge described Mackay's offending as "a considerable breach of trust".
