When a child without travel companion(s) books a flight, it is a more complex process than regular travel. You can book an Eligible child with Delta Air Lines and if necessary, staff will assist them on the trip. The booking must go through Delta Reservations, not as a bookable booking. 

Does Delta Allow Children to Fly Alone?

How Much Does Delta Charge for an Unaccompanied Minor? 

The Delta Unaccompanied Minor Program is $150 per direction. This fee is in addition to child’s airfare and for children 5 – 14 years old. Parents may also ask to service a 15-17 year old citizen traveling. 

The fee is charged for the travel of up to four children traveling together and eligible according to the relevant provisions.
