How to reach Gangotri
By Rail
The nearest road station to Gangotri is Rishikesh 234 km ahead Gangotri on NH58 and is well connected by road network with major destinations of India. Trains to Rishikesh are frequent. Taxis and motorcars are available from Rishikesh, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, and numerous other destinations to Gangotri.
By Air
How to reach Gangotri by Air- The nearest field to Gangotri is gleeful Grant Airport which is located around at the distance of 250kms. This field is well linked to Delhi and there are figures of diurnal breakouts to Delhi which connects to major corridor of the country.
By Road
Gangotri can be reached only via road in a machine, intimately operated jeeps, SUVs other vehicles. The trip from Rishikesh takes about 12 hours. hack/ Jeeps are also available from Taxi Stations in Rishikesh, Haridwar & Dehradun. Tourist taxicabs are available from Dehradun/ Rishikesh.

Day 1
Gangotri; Drink to the land of God, take a serene hike to Surya Kund
As you arrive in Dehradun, board a participated hack from Rispana Pul in Dehradun to Uttarkashi
Drive for 5- 6 hours that takes you through Mussoorie Bypass Road giving you the most spectacular views including the precious views of Tehri Dam Lake as well and do to Chilyanisaur
Take a short break at Uttarkashi and continue travelling to Gangotri via Harsil that would take another four hours
From Uttarkashi, you’ll have to take another participated hack to reach Gangotri
Once you reach Gangotri, go to the tabernacle to perform evening aarti and latterly, get authorization to enter the Gangotri National Park
still, hike to Surya Kund as well

Day 2
Bhoj Kharak; immersing 8 KM spider wall journey
In the morning, visit the sacred sanctum of Gangotri and wander around the original requests
Cross the ground over Bhagirathi River and start climbing the ascent on the right
Walk the steep in a slow constant pace so that you would not be tired so fluently
