4 Devices that Keep Your Car Safe | Explanation

In recent years, car theft has become the most prevalent issue, and your car could be next. Anti-theft car structures and locks can be very helpful to keep this from happening. When components of your vehicle are sold individually, it’s difficult to find them once more, so it’s better to ensure your car is safe from the start. There are a lot of ways to keep your car safe, like getting insurance, but the process can be time-consuming, and you might not look over anything. Using high-quality gadgets is another good way to keep your car safe.

1. Ghost Immobiliser 2

The ghost immobiliser 2 keeps people from copying your keys, hacking your car, or even stealing your keys. A ghost-protected car can only be stolen by physically pulling it away, and even then, the thief won’t be capable of driving it. The Ghost doesn’t have any remote controls or LED lights that would show where it is.

2. Lock System

  • Tyre Lock:

This lock is often used by parking enforcement. The tyre lock is made from steel, which makes it strong and hard to break as well as cut. If a thief thinks about taking your car in this situation, he might change his mind. It is very easy to buy one either from online or from some stores

  • The Steering Wheel Lock:

There are different kinds of steering wheel locks, but they all stop the wheel from turning. Some of the newest steering locks have alarms that go off if someone attempted to open them. There are also locks on the market that can lock both the steering wheel and the brake or gas pedal.

  • Paddle Lock:

The pedal lock is being used to lock the brakes and accelerator just like the steering wheel. If it is fitted to your car, it will be harder for a thief to take your car. You can use just one of these locks, or you can use at least one lock for more security.

  • Kill Switch Lock

A kill switch is indeed a small piece of equipment that can also be called a battery shutoff switch. It needs to be hide in the vehicle where it can’t be seen. This switch goes straight to the battery as well as the fuel pump of the car. If you flip this switch while the vehicle is stopped, the fuel tank will stop. No one would be able to start your car from here on out.

3. GPS tracking system

With a GPS tracker, it’s simple to find a car that’s been stolen. With the aid of the app, you can also control some parts of the car, like turning the engine on and off. If you’ve given the car to someone else and you want it to stay in that area and not go anywhere else, you can set up an imaginary geo-boundary. If the car goes outside that boundary, you’ll get a call right away. But you’ll get a message. With this, you can also track the vehicle’s live location, speed, running time, and mileage.

4. Video Monitor:

A video monitor isn’t a dedicated anti-theft device, and it’s not made to stop car theft. It was made to take care of babies, but a lot of people use it to clean their vehicles. This package comes with a webcam that needs to be set up inside the car and a screen that you can take with you. On this screen, you can see video from inside the car, take pictures, and it also has night vision to help you see better at night. It is sensitive to sound, so as soon as there is any noise inside the car, it will turn on and alert the user.

5. Engine Immobilizer:

Even though many cars from the same company have an engine immobilizer, this characteristic is not in all vehicles. If the car has an engine immobilizer, it won’t start with any of the keys; it will only start with the original key. Even if the robber makes a copy of the key, he won’t be able to get the car to start. The original vehicle key has a chip installed in it that sends signals to the electronic control unit. If you don’t have this, the car won’t start at all.
