Man dies in Adelaide workplace accident

A worker has died on an Adelaide construction site, where he is believed to have been electrocuted.

The 39-year-old Seaford man was found unresponsive inside an electrical pit on the North East Road, Walkerville site just after 9.30am on Wednesday.

Paramedics were called but there was nothing they could do to save the man.

Police will now prepare a report for the coroner, while Safework SA is also investigating.

Officers said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
