As a resident of Michigan, I always get a kick out of driving by Hell. On June 6, 2006 (6/6/06) the 2,000 citizens of Hell got together to host “A Weekend In Hell”. Something like 80,000 bikers, goths and well-wishers showed up to celebrate the unique event.

I appreciate the patriotism of the Fucking-residents. “We had a vote last year on whether to rename the town, but decided to keep it as it is” =) Great decision!

HAHA. That is a pretty funny list. The best one is Fucking, Austria. I can’t believe that a city is actually named that. Even though it’s not in America, it’s still pretty dam funny.

Have you ever heard of Pumpkin Town SC, Sugar Tit, SC. There are a lot of Weird town names throughout the country. What would be funny would be to know how they got their name. Someone should do the checking to see how they got their names.

How in the world are these towns able to keep their names? They are hilarious and make for good conversation. You sure could get into some good conversations trying to tell somebody where you are from.

Wonder how in the world some of those towns got there names. If you were at a family reunion and your small 4 year old daughter told your extended family she lived in Hell. I find it funny, but it could sure be embarrassing. There are a few I’ve heard of, Slab Town, SC; Walhalla, SC; Nothing as good as Hell, Michigan though.
